Founded by Clemence Bartod, a woman who wanted the world to be free. She appreciated Gifts for what they were, but encouraged her people to be as human as they could, she gave them arts and technology to free use, and built an economy on Freedom and respect of property. She placed Crysea , where the coasts were closer to her people and the air was lighter.
Now, Crysea is living in chaos. The rich are too rich and the poor are too poor. It's the only Nation with servants, entertainers and prostitutes, because the rich are vain, lazy and self-indulging, while the poor need money to pay for their food. It's like 18th Century France.
Crysea is currently ruled by the Torres line. The current reigning Queen is Her Majesty Queen Helena Marie Torres.
Important Things To Know:
-Crysea's line is dictated only by birth, meaning that the first child inherits the throne, regardless of gender.
-The majority of age in Crysea is 18. At that age you can inherit things, drink, marry, etc. You are considered an adult in the eyes of the Law.
-Crysea has three Social Classes:
*Royalty/Nobility: This class is dictated by blood. It's conformed by the Royal Family and the members of Court, such as Council Members and visiting Nobility from other countries.
*Middle Class: This one is scarce (about 30% of the population), and it is conformed mainly by the Royal Guard. It also includes the Royal Family's Medical Staff, some artists (painters, musicians, etc.) who are favored by
the Nobility, and tutors/nurses/Ladies-in-waiting/etc to the Royal Family.
*Lower Class: This is the biggest class in Crysea, conformed by about 60% of the population. These people can have jobs such as servants, prostitutes, amateur musicians, factory workers, etc. It is common for them to
be uneducated, because they cannot afford it.
-The Giftless in Crysea often get along and even share their working space with the Lower Class citizens.
Plot So Far:
-The Revolution is starting to take form. The head of it is Adam Heron, brother of Council Member Lady Hazel Heron. Little is known of his plans, but he's got a legion of poor uneducated people and the power to persuade people with his words, which makes him quite the powerful enemy.
-Princess Carmen, Heir to the throne, remains unmarried.
